I keep trying to rotate images in the photos hosting options here (I too have this problem of photos appearing sideways for some unknown reason) and each time I do they are horribly distorted. Is there any way to solve this via the photo hosting here or should I just use another photo hosting site for images that appear sideways here?
Thanks for any ideas you've got to share! Smiley

I think it's because the original sizing is still in the text of your actual post on here.  Looking at this one https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=451118.0

Code:
This one is my fave ;). (oops, image got stretched when I rotated it)

If you take it back to the original plain old "img" code, it will be okay.  Like this!

Code:
This one is my fave ;). (oops, image got stretched when I rotated it)

Thank you so much for teaching me that. I broke a bunch of links trying it out but I think I've got it now!

It's funny, the thumbnail is still sideways for that green deer image but in the post it's right way up. I pressed F5 (the mister told me to do that) but it stayed the same. I find computers so baffling!  Roll Eyes

I just want to add that I've found if I upload a pic to the photo hosting here and rotate it BEFORE posting the comment the photo appears in proper proportion. It's only if I've posted the photo sideways and then go into my photohosting to rotate it that it shows up stretched out. Then I can fix it by taking those measurements out of the code but that step is avoidable.
See, you are turning me into a computer genius! Ha!
