Anyone wanna help a good cause and buy a sonography class cookbook so I can go to a seminar in September? They are $15 alone, and $20 with handmade potholders. PM me!

I'm new to craftster, and a Portland Oregon transplant in Texas. I've been here almost 5 years and i still dont really feel like i fit in. (most people say i should have moved to Austin, but hey, what are you gonna do?) I'm starting school at the art institute in october.

I live in the Humble area. Where are some good fabric stores, or thrift stores with cool furniture that isn't nasty or overpriced? Making friends would be neat too!

Hi guys!

I am not new to Craftster.  I have been a member for awhile but just have not been on in 2 years!  A lot has changed on craftster, it looks fabulous.  Now that my access ito the internet is better I can get on all the time.

I live in far North Houston.
I am from Fort Worth.  Lived there about 29 years.
Moved to Austin for a year.  That is where I really got involved in this forum.
Then back to Fort Worth.
Now I have been in Houston for a little over 2 years.

I USED to make jewelry.  I was also a account rep for a bead company.  I would travel all the local and out of state bead & jewelry shows representing my company.  I loved it.

Now I am finishing my schooling to go into HPD.  BIG change.

I came back to this board to get back involved in my creative side that has been gone for A LONG time.

ok I rambled!!!

Check out my OWN mall, created FREE! ask me how or just sign up for FREE Closet Gypsy

I've been in Houston a coupla years now, but I still feel new, as I don't have a ton of friends down here. If someone wants to get together to hang out sometime and do something crafty maybe (or something totally non crafty), pm me!

Crafty? Like a fox my friend. Like a FOX!
