Kitty1236 made me a lovely pair of armwarmers. Not because she claimed me, but as a thank your for her college care package. What a sweetie.

Here's the photo. While it looks like a bad art school project -- "My Phantom Limb" -- it's more of a case of being the only person around to take the picture:

I have a confession: I'm obsessed with arm warmers. I have at least a half a dozen on my wists, but this is the very first pair that I actually own. They're so soft and warm and the color is the best. Of course, it was in the high '70s today so I can't wear them to the grocery store. Maybe the cold snap we had at the beginning of the week will return.

Although you really shouldn't have Kathy, I'm very glad you did.

Today, I received a package from gavagai. Package that we both thought was lost somewhere between Sweden and Canada.

I so happy that it finally made it here.
Gavagai made me cute stuffies inspired from my wists and this beautiful yarn/button jewery set. I'm going to wear it on Saturday night, I have a Party to go to.  Grin

Thank you very much Gavagai!  Kiss

Because it had been so long since she sent it, a few days ago she mailed a replacement package for me. Hope it won't take as long to get here. I'm planning on sending her a Thank you package in return.  Smiley

I am just now getting around to posting up pics of the amazing letters Banga sent me - hung this time - they have been hung for ages and I am putz.  The boys llllllloooooovvvveee their names on their doors and they look absolutely fabulous!

Here is my space boy's - note the G is hung a little high.  Men. Go figure.  He didn't want to fix it...
Of course I am the only one who notices it!

And a bit of a distant shot for Collin's - not that they aren't as nice cause they are gorgeous - I wanted to show you all HIS artwork that he has hung on his door as well!

bhean sent me an awesome quilted wall hanging - and it is too dark in my  room right now to take a pic of it - It is just gorgeous!  When the sun is up I will try to get in there and take a pic.  My house is like living in a cave I kid you not!

I am collecting quilts, afghans & blankets for those that lost their homes.  Pm me!

I totally know I've heard that turtle quote before (the earth rests on turtles thing) but I sooo cannot place it.  So, to the original maker of the piece, what's it from?

I like penguins, stars, rainbows and blue.
If your project has any of these, don't be surprised to see me post in it! Cheesy

The letters look so great on their doors, deb! I'm so glad they like them. Nothing makes me happier than making fun things for kidlets!
