I also posted this in the Jewelry/Trinkets section, but since they're for Valentines Day...

I made these little "love machines" from shrinkies, and I had this hideous old red/gold necklace that I got in a ziploc lot about 10 years ago at a yard sale! Strung 'em up, and voila! I'm sooo happy with the way they turned out! I never thought I'd ever have a use for the red necklace... but it looks perfect!

what a great idea!!! I have never thought of using shrinky dinks that way. Did you freehand Mr Roboto?

Sorta - I freehanded one on a regular piece of paper that I've kept and I just trace it and put whatever details I feel like putting (ie the hearts for Valentines Day). I got the idea for the basic robot from an ad I saw in AP magazine Cheesy
