Oooh! I absoltely (or maybe absolutely) love this bag and the tute looks pretty darn awesome! Plus you're even awesomer because you're a fellow Aussie! Yay!

*ahem*

Anyway, I'm gonna bookmark this and stop rambling like a good ol' loser, thanks for the tute! I might just make this in the morning, or later if I'm feeling particularly procrastinatorish...

I did it! I made a bag from this awesome tute! Thanks so much!

I too am going back to uni soon and this was my way of telling myself I was doing something for uni - I needed/wanted a new bag! I am very proud of myself! I used black cord and the lining is bright yellow fabric with rainbow polka dots....I'll show you a pic later, it is late at night and I will wake the parents...

Thanks again! This is a great bag (and it's the perfect size for my uni books!)

Here 'tis! I have some pics!

It looks a little boring at this stage, I plan on making some felt applique patch type things and sewing them on my lovely wide strap!

Here is the entire bag...

Here is a dodgy pic of the lining, I don't add closures to bags for me...but this time I added a pocket with some pen holders (a first for me!)

Thanks again!

oh i just love this bag and that you are an aussie makes it even better - measurements in centimetres yippee!! Thanks so much for the tute. Now I just hope that the fabric I bought off ebay recently has enough yardage!
