So. For my H.S. art class we are working on sculptures. Made of sticks. That's really our only instructions.
It can't be too big. I can add anything else to it. I can paint it, decopauge (sp?) it. Basically do anything. As long as it involves branches.
Insparation anyone? Ideas? I would very much appreciate it. : )

Well, the easiest thing that I could think of would be to make an abstract type sculputre, but probably everyone else will too..maybe you could shape the sticks into a person or animal figure, maybe make them into a small animal and paint it lime green or something.  Can you use string to hold it together?

Let's swap.

One thing you can always do if you wanted to make a specific shape, is use thin twigs and tie them together with twine, ribbon or wire. Kind of like this (except it's made of straw): http://www.hel2.fi/kaumuseo/vuodenkierto/joulu/kuva_olkipukki.html

Another thing that might look nice is some kind of combination of sticks and fairy lights. You could add some flower-shaped paper "shades" to the fairy lights (I think I've even seen some instructions on Craftster) and do something with them.
