Would you like to create some items to make the journey more comfortable and fun? Armchair travelers are more than welcome - and after this swap you’ll be ready to hit the road!
Grab your passports ladies and gents and let’s get ready to visit the world!

The Rules:
In order to sign up for this swap you must be willing to ship internationally (you may not have to). If you would prefer not to mail to a certain country (because of past trouble or you know that it is wicked expensive from where you live) then let me know and I will try my best to accommodate your wishes. Photocopy the proof of delivery if you are unable to get a DC#. Please check with your partner to make sure you word the customs form correctly so they don’t get any extra expense or hassle on their end. Please do not ship seeds of any kind. For further info on prohibitions: http://pe.usps.gov/text/Imm/Immctry.html

Craft one large, one medium and one small item and make a little welcome packet from your town‘s visitors bureau. (If you are tempted to go overboard - no pun intended - please let your partner know, but also keep in mind that if this goes well I’ll do a round 2)
If it is difficult for you to take and post photos - please let your partner know and send an email reminder closer to send out date. Photos in the gallery are not mandatory - just extra fun if it is possible.
PM me and your partner when you have sent and received.

Please put Traveler’s Swap in the subject line for all PM s pertaining to this swap.

I sent my info earlier--I figure that if I have awhile, paying for international shipping shouldn't be bad.

I took up running so that I could eat more, not because it feels good.  haha

Just a word on shipping - this is how I handle it - I go to the post office and ask about costs - size of package and weight issues and construct my items accordingly. For example, I shipped a mounted cross stitch to India and it was cheaper than sending something to my sis across the country and it got there in like 5 days - so ya never know.
Or think of it this way - shipping costs are still significantly less than an airplane ticket Smiley

i'm excited for this swap!

It's unfortunate my first travel outside of North America is the 12th March, I probably wouldn't get swap package in time but I'm goign for it anyhow.
