I've become obsessed. Here a couple of things I've been doing with my large stash of paint chip samples:

Bookmarks and hangtags

Shrinky Dink charms stitched on!

Oh, those are adorable! roxybadoxy has a bunch of paint chip samples up for swap in the Ongoing Offer What You Have Swap and while they're pretty, I wondered what one could do with them. :-p

Thanks for the great ideas! I have lots of paint chips from painting my living room.

I had a look at your blog and thought it was really great too. I've added it to my bloglines blog subscriptions.

I love those. How cute they are! Especially the little bookmarks. simple but creative.  My grad student husband would love those for school.  His favorite color is green, and there ya go!

Oh my gosh, now I am obsessed, too. Ahhh! I just almost got kicked out of the hardware store for taking too many paint chip samples...I got halfway through their stock when I realized the clerks thought I was a lunatic....but now I am dying to go back to finish looking through them!!! I do feel bad, though, because I think I took too many. OK, I know I took too many.

Those are so cool!

I posted this in another thread but I'll say it again here. You can get rid of the printed words on most paint samples with just a little bit of rubbing with a regular pencil eraser. There are a couple of brands where it doesn't work, but for most it works great!

I'm not saying you should do that on your stuff. though. I kind of like having the color names on my stuff... the names are so pretty!

Very cute ideas!  We are house-hunting, which means paint-hunting, which means giganto stack of paint chips.  I particularly like the red-pink bookmark with the cameo-like picture of the lady.
