 Shocked
So i'm pretty stumped as to what to get my friend Regina for her 18th.
She plans on becoming a copy editor
and loves rubber ducks (but i gave her duck stuff last year)
shes also editor of the school newspaper (we have an amusing rivalry because i'm editor of the yearbook)

i was planning on doing something like "editor in a box" with red pens, post its, grammar style book, legal tablet, clipboard, stamps (like the ones that say draft, void, etc.)

i would really appreciate some input!

A Stylebook would be a good move - make sure to write a thoughtful inscription on the inner cover.

You could also make her a binder/planner cover with applique'd rubber ducks. - I can certainly post the dimensions/instructions if you like (I made one for my sis for xmas).

If she's college-bound, you could turn it into an "Editor in Bloom" box and include a roll of quarters and some mini-laundry packets, ramen noodles, Excedrin, multi-vitamins, a lanyard for keys, bookmarks, iron-on hem tape, and loads of highlighters.  Those re-useable Post-it flags are essential, as is instant coffee or tea.

Hope that helps!
