Wow, those are cool! Red and black are great combos and the bow was a very nice touch.

- i glued the ribbon in place with just regular "stick" glue, and ran my fingernail along where the shoe meets the sole to make the ribbon look attatched underneath. i then got a scalpel and cut the end of the ribbon off at the join where id just run my fingernail across. hope that makes sense, if not, ask away.

the sandpaper was for roughing up the surface of the semi patent leather to give the acrylic paint something to adhere/stick to. you want a fairly small grain, otherwise youd just end up with big gouge marks.
