So this is my first post on the crochet forum.  I've been crocheting for a few years now but just haven't posted anything.  
Well I love the musical Wicked (haven't been able to see it yet though Cry )  so i decided that the first afghan I crocheted would be Wicked themed. The entire thing is done in single crochet and took me about 3 months to finish. It's all done with Bernat super value yarn but is surprisingly soft. Ok done talking heres the picture:

I got over my fear of embroidering on crochet and put the details on the afghan. I don't know how i feel about it, it didn't really turn out like i'd hoped. I still want to outline Galinda's hand because you can't tell where her hand ends and her face starts...i'll see if i can find the right color yarn to use, any suggestions?

NO WAAAAY that is soo cool and awesome!  I read the subject and was like "no way that means wicked the musical.....could it?"  and then it did!! 

i love the logo for the show, i actually made my roomie a door sign out of it. 

i hope you get to see the show soon!!

AH! This is amazing! I'm totally in love with all that is Broadway (especially Wicked) and I am in love with this afghan! I hope you get to see the show! Wonderful job on the afghan!

Ohhhh that is amazing. I loathe musicals, but you did a phenomenal job! I know so many people who would kill for that!
