I use Photoshop.  You can use Many different programs.  Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro, Microsoft Digital Image Suite, GIMP etc.  If you google any of these softwares you will find the information that you need and where to get them.  Personally i suggest investing in Photoshop ELements to start.

I print my digital scrapbook pages and put them in albums.  i usually print 8x8 (at costco)   AND i also burn them on a DVD as a slideshow so i can share with my family  (because i am too cheap to print everyone copies) LOL

If you want to see some of my digi pages you can see them here

Hope this helps a bit!!

Thank you!!  Grin  Digital Scrapbooking really can be fun and a great creative outlet for those that dont like to get messy with paint, paper etc.  For some people, digital wont replace the desire to touch and feel the textures but, for those who are more inclined to use the computer and dont have time or space to dedicate to paper scrapping...  I have never been a paper scrapper and i very rarely ever have the desire to get out that messy stuff. LOL

For the layouts i create, i use mostly my own graphics and just throw them together using photoshop.  Its really just like putting together a paper page but on the computer.  It really depends on the stuff that you use and your drop shadows that will determine how your layout looks in the end.

You can find some great beginners tutorials here: http://scrapbook-bytes.com/cgi-script/tutorials/publish/index.shtml
you just need to choose the software that you are using and follow along with those tutorials.    It might look complicated at first but, once you figure out how to do your first layout, you will be cruisin along in no time!!

ALso, here is some other information along with video podcast links by ronna penner here:  http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/resources.htm
