So my mum taught me to crochet a while ago but I'd never actually made anything with it, then yesterday, as I was browsing YouTube, I discovered amigurumi and immediately wanted to make something!
Yesterday evening I sat and made this little cutie:

He's striped too, so I was proud. I am aware that I didn't actually crochet him "properly". I only crocheted into the back stitch so he's stripy in two ways Smiley (Free pattern I found whilst googling)

Then today I wanted to make something else so I googled for another pattern and sat and made this critter:

I like him. He's not blue for any specific reason, that was just the wool I had nearest. I need to work on doing faces as they look a tad creepy.
I'm hoping to make a lot more in the future, hopefully they'll increase in cuteness.

Thank you for looking.

Nice job on your first ones! I made my first amigurumi the other day. It is suppose to be a pig...notice I say suppose to be. I guess practice makes perfect  Wink

Stop repeat offenders. Don't re-elect them!

So sweet!  Grin I remember when I started crocheting I crocheted in the back stitches only too, I found it easier than the usual way! Grin
