I would be willing to bet a good chunk of change they didn't dye those stripes either so you will get a bunch of little balls from all the different stripes. If you cant part with it save it for a day you are really REALLY bored

I'm in too. I'm using some frogged yarn from my mom's for the Easy Bolero on here, only a few sizes bigger.

I'm having a go at this too Cheesy

The first jumper I bought from the charity shop turned out to be made up from a mass of knitted fabric so everytime I unraveled to the edge of the jumper the end was cut!! not good, I've ended up with a huge skein of yarn that is knotted every couple of feet! Cheesy

But I've learnt from my mistake! I made sure I checked the seams of the next charity jumper  Smiley  I took it apart last week, unravelled, skeined and washed it.  It's a cotton and silk blend and i much prefer it to the first jumper!! yesterday i decided to start knitting it up into a little fitted cardigan,

Before:

During:
- I was really happy with my progress, until late last night, when i suddenly realised that I probably wasn't going to have enough yarn to finish it!! -the jumper was fairly large but it used single thread and I'm knitting with double!  so I'm going to unpick it and use larger needles and adjust the pattern a little  Wink

Ruby Tuesday -- that color is gorgeous!  I look forward to seeing your completed FO using it.

I just finished Robin Dodge's Runway Bolero (http://www.metapostmodernknitting.com/RunwayBolero/tabid/66/Default.aspx)
I really like it!!  I used various cottons from thrift store sweaters.  I think it will be great for spring.
