What are the guidelines for 'sending late', for posting in feedback as such? One week, two? Is two months then considered 'very late'? Technically it was not a 'flake', just a very long time in getting it out. Just curious as I always make a point of mailing on time and to be on the recieving end of a tardy swapper can be frustrating. Any input/comments appreciated.  8)d

I think some organisers are a bit more lenient than others.  I try to stick to one week after sendouts is considered late.  If there's good communication, I let it go longer, but I still generally leave a comment noting lateness.

My rule of thumb is: after one week, it's late, and I do note that in feedback. After two weeks, I generally get an angel for the partner, unless it's someone I know or if the late swapper has been in really good communication. I've never had anyone actually mail out once they've gone past the two weeks, but I would definitely consider two months "very late".

Thank you both for replying. I appreciate your input. So does that mean you would put in their feedback after two months, 'sending late' or 'negative, sending late'.

oh goodness!  I'm sure rackycoo or one of the other swap mods can help you with that.  Make sure you contact one of them!

For sure, by this time, the member should have a negative with something like "late, sending mmdd".

Put a ticket in the help desk and we can help you!

After a week I normally notate it. I always say w/ or w/o communication. If they are just a few days late I don't note it if they communicated. If they are more than a couple weeks late but say they are shipping I give them a negative until they do.

I will post in the 'help desk'.  I hate to make waves, but after 2 months the 'thrill of the swap' is gone. And honestly, i don't believe the 'I'm sending tomorrow' anymore. Thank you ladies, I feel better. Off to post in the 'helpdesk'  8)d

Sometimes life gets in the way. We've had Craftsters that have been in accidents or have had really tragic things happen. A swapper gets a negative two weeks after send outs have passed. When/if they ship, the negative gets reversed to a positive - and a comment can be made in the appropriate section about lateness.
