Hello and good day to all my curvacious and busty ladies.

I need your help. I bought this gorgeous House of Spy ribbon topped shirt in L/G but the top ribbon part is a little tight around ol' cbass' back and sides/armpit area as seen in pics below.

Problem: The top ribbon has no side seam to let out the top. Do I cut into the ribbon? If so what should I use to expand the top and how do I work that into the rest of the shirt. Daunting.

I appreciate any suggestions you may have.

I see the little flower i the front is the same as the ribbon. YOu might use that to your advantage. My first thought was to add a little wedge to the back zipper area. YOu could do a little triangle on each side of the zipper out of the flower fabric. and that would flow with the pattern in the dress.

My next thought was why not remove the flower and cut a slash in the ribbon where the flower is. That would remove some of the tightness and if you felt it was too revealing there put the flower back on at the bottom of the V. You would probably have to stitch the V closed by hand. Or if you find some other fabric in one of the other colours of the dress you could add this into the V as well.

Hope this helps a little.
