I found some beautiful, hand-spun wool in San Fransisco.  It still had a flower in the wool, which struck me as very woodsy and fairy-like.  I wanted to capture that image, so I came up with this hat.  I added a ribbed brim for extra shaping and length.  It is very soft and warm- perfect for a walk in the woods!  Wink

Did you happen to get it at Art Fibers on Sutter St?

I read about that place in the SnB calendar so when we went there recently I made a point of checking it out. The yarns are lovely but expensive which I guess is par for the course.

Your hat looks like a Hershey's Kiss! It's very cute!
