So I know I (along with my husband and our bank account) will later kick myself for asking this, but I was wondering where everyone likes to go for purchased ATC items (versus found items, like magazines, etc.)? I've seen a couple stores listed in other threads, but maybe this way we can see everyone's fave places.

Personally, I'm a Joann's kinda gal. I like to just go up and down every aisle and see what kind of good stuff they have on sale (I don't think I've purchased anything there for full price yet  Tongue). I haven't yet ventured online for much, simply because I like to see it in person.

How about you?

(And mods, I did a quick search but didn't find anything like this already - if there is, feel free to delete this and just point me in the right direction! )

If we're talking just ATC shopping, I like the Dollar Stores. Some have just the kiddy stuff but we have several franchises in town so I hit them all, lol.

I love Dollar Stores.
Wal-Mart can sometimes have good things cheap
I love AC Moore
RagShop (Ribbon is cheap.. and nice)
OrientalTrading - they always have fantastic things cheap
youratcstore.com

and there's more.. I'm just too tired right now to go through my lists of online stores. Smiley

I'll edit when I remember more.

We have one of the best dollar stores I've ever seen here in my itty bitty town.  It's called "Bucks" and the craft aisle seems to be dedicated to scrapbookers.  Lot's and lot's of stuff there, but I have to be careful there because not everything at a dollar store is worth a buck.  It's easy to think a buck is cheap, but for say....4 photo corners in a single pack...nah!

Secondly we have a scrapbooking store that is just beyond huge!  There you can find any paper you can imagine, ink, colored staples, eyelets, ribbons, ephemera of alllllll kinds and anything else you can think of.

when our new dollar store opened up last year, I spent so much my husband now calls it the hundred dollar store Roll Eyes   I scavenge from the dollar store, Wal mart (not a whole lot there), Micheals if I must, and a neat art/paper store when I go to the big city.

Out of necessity (I live in a small town) I do a bit of on-line shopping, but being from Canada tend to forget about exchange, extra shipping, customs-and have a heart attack when my credit card bill comes in!  I've ordered from Stampington, artchix, skybluepink (my favorite right now)   And whenever I travel somewhere, I check online where all the good paper and art stores are....(course I could travel more if I bought less art stuff!)

I do the dollar store, Michaels, Walmart, JoAnn's like everyone else, but my favorite crafting store is Pat Catan's (only in Ohio and western PA).  On line my new favorite store is http://www.collagestuff.com for $9. I got a box full of ephemera!

I go thrifting sometimes too.. and yard sales. You'd be amazed at what you can pick up at yard sales for a quarter.

Also, I have family in the UK (hubby's side, my side is in Italy or on the Rez in OK) so I can get a bunch of Italian stuff and UK stuff.. the papers are awesome.  Plus I live about an hour to an hour and a half from NYC so stuff in all sorts of languages is avaliable.. and I teach Spanish, so ya.. got tons of that stuff too.
