Okay, here it is:

Wool (green at bottom, black at top) and fun fur (reddy, red, red!).
I knit in the round a waaaaaaaaaaay oversized, toe-up sock, adding a strap by continuing flat up either side of the top of the sock. I then wet-felted it in the washing machine. It took a long time to dry, but once it was ready to go I had a blast using it.

It's a great purse for carrying around Christmas time - it certainly gets noticed a lot & has what I think is a pretty strong Dr. Seuss vibe. Also, holiday pick pockets don't stand a chance, because the opening is hand sized, but very high up & stuff settles to the bottom of the bag - no way for anyone to sneakily remove items without me knowing it. The strap is tied at the top, in case you can't make it out from the picture.

Another word about the pic: This bag was ready to be posted before the original deadline of Jan. 3, but I could not find my camera. This pic is courtesy of a tiny, tiny keychain camera I got a hold of tonight (like, after sunset) & I'm told works better in daylight. If it's okay, I'm going to try photographing it in the daylight tomorrow morning & will post a better pic - I know that would be after the deadline, so if that's not okay, I won't do it.
