Neat idea. I've been wondering how to do this. Maybe it could be a subset of "Other Fiber Arts" along with felting, spinning and weaving.

Definetly, though I suspect it might be a bit of a quiet board because we aren't very many tatters here. Those I've seen have sort of come and gone... Roll Eyes

Maybe it could be a board for all lace making, like tatting and bobbin lace.

I just bought a tatting shuttle on sale so that would be great. I have no idea who on here tats or where to begin. Smiley

Oooo YES!  I've never suggested it because I simply assumed no one else would be interested.

My grandma taught me to tat when I was about 10.
A local lady taught me the first, basic steps to bobbin lace.

I'd love a board for both or either --    Smiley

A mixed lace board might work Smiley

I want to support this too: at my knitting (and crocheting) group everyone is addicted to tatting now.  We still reject cross-stitching though.

I think a lace board would be nice... that way it wouldn't be too small.
You could put knitted or crocheted lace in too, and I know a lot more people do that.
I like to knit lace, and it's hard to find help with the crazy stitches sometimes, so this would be useful for me!
