Hello Smiley Well, it's been 8 years since I beaded anything, but my younger sister (fashion design student) needed some help with a beaded dress last month. Of course I am now hopelessly hooked again so I tried making an amulet holder this week. It's turned about a bit big, plus I made a few mistakes so I might make a coin purse with it instead. I used square stitch because I don't have a loom anymore.

I noticed some older posts from bead weavers here. Would anyone like me to post the pattern?

I messed up the last few rows in my piece and my medium and dark brown beads didn't have much contrast so I'm sure you'll all have much nicer looking pieces!  I hope you can follow the pattern ok, as I'm not sure how they are usually written.
