arrhythmia :   Smiley sheeting is a good idea!  and so are stamps!  as for the letter shapes .. paint shop and paint are great for that.  just spell out what you want and then print it.  or you could google some cool fonts to cut out!  the process i use is printing off the picture, then i tape the pic down to the contact paper and cut it out with an excto .. that way it cuts through the printer paper and the contact paper at the same time, making it easier.  i hope this isnt too confusing ..  Undecided

Ooh, I love it!  I adore Marylin Monroe, and I would love to tote this bag around Smiley  I'm sure your hairdresser was/will be very pleased with it!

sew cute- No, you are very clear. I can't wait to try this. I like being able to cut through both layers at once, since my exacto skills are pretty rusty! I'll try this and let ya know how it works!

Thanks a bunch!

Your bag is too cute! You did an awesome job on it! I do have one questions about the stenciling, how do you know what areas to cut out? (Sorry if this is a stipuid question) Thanks! And good job!

thanks !  well .. all you realyl have to do for most stencils is cut out the black parts.  it gets a little complicated at times because sometimes there are white parts to be left but dont connect to the paper.  these are called "islands"/  all you do then is leave a tiny temporary line to connect it to the rest and then paint it over after.  i hope that doesnt sound too confusing??  Undecided Smiley

i don't mind at all!  here's the stencil, i got it from stencil collection site:

I had to resize it to make it big enough .. so you might have to do that as well.
HAPPY STENCILING! LOL  Cheesy
