So I saw this thread: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=108216.0 and it was too genius to resist making my own.  I used a Chapstick brand tube, which is acutally rather small - it only just fits a regular ob tampon, and a little snugly at that.  Because it's Chapstick brand, it was a little different to dissect.  I basically took out the part that holds the chapstick, and then I had an empty tube, with the part that twists it up, which is attached to a plastic corkscrewy thing.  So I just popped that part off the bottom and broke the corkscrewy thing off (you'll see I didn't break it off all the way).  Then I cleaned it, and voil!  It really is quite snug, though, and I've bought and am now using a chapstick that is wider in diameter for my next tampon hider.  tuffie, this was a wonderful idea!

I use those tampons too!

I am making one of those holders.

Usually i carry em in a pocket in my felt eggplant pouch. Wearing tight jeans though makes it slightly bulgy...

EDIT: Are lipsmacker tubes bigger than your chapstick ones? That is what I would use...

I'm pretty sure they are.  I just used a chapstick one because that's what I had.

Thank you so much! I would have never seen/thought of this without you. I want to stock up and make ones for every day of the week!

Do you think these would fit a regular tampox tampon? It just doesn't seem big enough! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea! Too cute!

I've seen ginormous chapstick tubes before the size of gluesticks. Maybe that will fit larger tampons?

I don't know, I never used tampons
