My mom loves tea so I made her a tea themed basket for last mothers day.

What I included in the basket was

3 paper back books (brand new from the thrift store)
3 different teas (from herbandginger.com)
Biscottis (from the local super market)
A tea cup with matching small glass tea-pot (also from thrift store)
A tea cup candle, I just bought candle making supplies at Jo-Anns along with a tea-cup from the thrift store, melted the wax and filled it up.

She really loved it all and I made a corny little card with a tea bag on it and tea cup that said "Have a Tea-riffic Mother's Day."

You can probably use the same idea for coffee and other beverages.

Very sweet idea!

Has she tried the tea cup candle yet? I was just thinking about burning candle votives in thrifted tea cups and am curious about the safety of it (can the tea cup handle the heat?).

ya it burnt fine. it was a small glass cup. the only suggestion is to make sure the wax fills up to the top. i ran out of wax and it didn't look as great as it could've otherwise it burnt fine and she loved it.
