I really do like that crochet hook thing.
I am compleatly inept at anything requiring small repedative tasks but I do admire that.
It is not often I like crochet stuff.

OK< here is my February:

I beaded some headpins with seedbeads and the round things are red glittery scrapbooking paper (that had an adhesive back, woo!) sandwiched in between those plastic "page pebbles" ~ yay scrapbook aisle at AC Moore! Anyways then I attached them with jumprings onto a basic ready-made silvertone chain and added the clasp. Please forgive my terrible picture quality. My current camera is awful and my husband is getting me a new one this week  Cheesy

Giff- Beautiful necklace! Beading the headpins with seedbeads is about all I can stand before they start driving me crazy!

Everybody has such awesome projects!

Thanks, impybat. That was actually my first ever attempt at beading, so I'm pretty proud of myself!

I love your necklace. I would never think to make my own feature beads. Very creative.

I have a blog!!

As I said earlier in this thread, red is not a color I use to craft so coming up with an idea was hard.  After a few weeks of thinking, I finally came up with a small sewing project.  I cut it all out and started sewing, however, my heart was not in it and therefore it wasn't fun.  I thought, what in the world am I doing, making something I won't use and don't know who to give it to, so..........I threw the whole thing away.  I know, I can hear all your gasps now but don't worry, the entire project used less than a FQ of material so it wasn't that bad  Grin

Now I had to come up with another idea so I went back to my old faithful, crochet, and decided to make a dishcloth.  There was no way I was going to just make a plain one and post it here, not after seeing all the creative items already on this thread.  So, off I went to search the net for an interesting pattern and since it was February, I concentrated on a heart shape and this is what I came up with:

Next month I am going to make something non-crochet!  I am!

Needing an on-line break ... I'll be back later in 2018.

Very pretty homerof2! I am not a very big fan of red either. It is taking me a lot of work to think of something. I really like your heart though. It has beautiful stitches, and your tension always makes me blush as mine isn't nearly as wonderful as yours.

WOW everything on here is so well done and creative.  I love this especially because there are so many different craft ideas/talents represented here!

I'm totally in love with all the red projects posted here already too. The necklaces are amazing and the red crocheted heart is too cool! My daughter just asked me yesterday if I could crochet a heart for her -- go figure, hey?  Cheesy  I will have to do a google search later for that pattern.

I am working on my red project which is about 3/4 of the way done. I don't often work with red so this one is challenge for me, but that is half the fun.  Cheesy
