For February, I plan to use up some red silk organza, which I bought in a January sale so long ago that I was able to buy three yards of it without a trading standards official taking the retailer to court for failing to use metric measurements (in the UK, almost everything must be sold in metric measurements by law for some years now) and which has been taken out, looked at, puzzled over and put back almost every time I open the case it's kept in but this time I'm not going to let it defeat me!

Any suggestions?

I'm still working on my January craft... Tongue ... and thinking about how to make the February one while I'm making it. I'm sure the January one won't be finished today. But fortunatelly there's the one week in addition.

And my original Czech blog, nowadays updated VERY occasionally...

This plethora (I love that word) of crafts is why I like this craft-a-long so much. It's not limited to any specific type. Grin  I plan to crochet a red version of the Post Office Hat. Smiley

Ok, I decided to jump in on this! Smiley  I ♥ colors! Smiley

I made a patchwork bag out of scraps.

it's got a circular bottom, adn really tall sides.  plus a strap to hang it by.

I think I'm either going to use it for the excess of plastic bags I have or for some of my smaller fabric scraps.

now, off to think of something red for February...  I've got a project that involves red and silver, but I don't think it's appropriate to post on the internet  Wink

ok, so its just after 1am here, officialy feb.1 so i'm going to inflict my mainly  red craft on you. its wonder woman time...(go on sing the theme tune) Grin

Our Lady Wonder Woman

close up

she's about 3 inches tall & came from the toy aisle in the supermarket. when i saw the frame in a shop i knew she was getting a new home. you cant see the large red heart rhinestones on each of the corners, but they're there. the gold flock backround paper was meant for wrapping but needed a better life, the big flowers are vintage. the 'super' was from a bag of poetry beads.

sooooo, what do you think ?

ps. i reeallly like that patchwork bag  Smiley

WONDER WOMAN!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

That shrine is amazing!  I love it!

Still no clue as to what I am going to get into for the RED February craft.  Seems like the days are flying by.  I had hoped to do something else for January, but time has slipped right on by.

I love looking at everything everyone is doing.

Kiwimonkey now you have me wondering what in the world you are planning with Silver & Red!?!

Cute bag by the way.  Looks like one of those things that you could use for just about anything.
