W :oW!!!!  Great idea for recycling and definitely far superior to any plastic crap.  And this:

I want to hang silver pots and pans - but maybe that's because I'm beginning to live in a delusional world where this is my kitchen. lol
is too funny.  Maybe you could find some old pans at the thrift store?  Heck, if ya lived near me, I have a whole bin in storage you could have, plus my old mixer as I got a gorgeous new Kitchen Aid mixer for XMas.  I just really love this -- what a very special thing to do!

This is the best use of an entertainment center ever! Instead of a mind-sucking box being the living room "altar" to TV gods, you've created a functional and beautiful play/learning center. Besides, I consider my kids my entertainment center; they are endless fun in and of themselves.

Soooooooo cute!  We have the exact same entertainment center and it's been banished to an empty room since we got our new one.  I showed your pictures to my husband and he said, "Wow!  Save that!!"

Hahaha!  Keep in mind our daughter is 20 days old so we have awhile before she needs a play kitchen.  I think I will print your post out for future reference.  Thanks for sharing all of the details with everybody!
