First up is a glass marble necklace set. I made three sets for different friends. I made up the glass marble pendants, and thought to myself, I need a pretty way to package them up. I stumbled upon neat little unfinished wood boxes at the craft store, and thought hey, those would be just right. So I decoupaged the sliding top with pretty paper and painted the rest. I then made a removeable board to hold/display the pendants. The top two photos are of the same finished set and the bottom is the box for the next set I made. I am pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Next up are cute little 15 minute coin pouches. Super easy and sized just right for coins or cards.

Now for some tacky kitchy goodness. A pom pom and felt scarf.

A pretty hobo bag made from runnermom100863's tute here on Craftster. I lucked up on finding the fabrics on two different occasions from the remnant bin at the fabric store.

And now for the food. Yum

Turtle bites

And Peppermint Bark

Sorry if the post is too big. Since today is Christmas, most of these have been given away already, and were very well received. It makes it all worth it! Merry Christmas! Cheesy

Thanks guys. The turtle bites are the easiest thing in the world to make. Preheat the oven to 350. Line a sheet with foil. Stack a rolo candy and pecan on top of a pretzel. Put in the oven for 3 or 4 minutes. Take out and smoosh the pecan on to the melted candy. Yum Yum. The hardest part is unwrapping all those rolos. But I did have to make about two hundred of them. Love the pendants!! How did you make the bail/slide/whatever-it's-called and attach it to the back? I have some clay pendants that I need to put something on the back of, but I can't figure out the best way to do it! It is holding up my creative process!!  Cheesy

And, I think I may need to make a pom-pom scarf for a swap I have coming up soon! What a cute idea!!

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL necklaces, and such an awesome way to package them!  And such a great idea to have replaceable pendants!  I'm sure your friends were freaking out when they opened them!

Did you make the actual necklace too, the wire part?  And what did you use on the marbles for the hanging bit?

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
