Honey lipgloss:Well, it is a ridiculously simple recipe and works wonders! Ok, so I made a honey lipbalm/gloss and it tastes great. I am cheap thanks to Christmas so I used an old gumball machine bubble (things the prizes come out in!) and put the stuff in there. All the times I catch myself eating it. My sister really liked it and because she found this lip balm she really wanted (that was hoey flavored also, strangely enough...) and couldn't get it, I gave her my home-made one. It makes a great gift for a stocking and only takes about 5 minutes for prep. and 15 minutes in the fridge. You could put it in the freezer for about five and you'd be set, but I didn't wanna take any chances. I have some on now from my test. Om my freaking god it tastes good. And smells good too! Should I post the recipe? It's really well-known but maybe I'll post it anyway!
Vanilla lipgloss: It's a really easy recipe I just created. Really well-known. Kind of like the honey, everyone makes it and thinks they've created it, but, no. I am wearing it now and it tastes REALLY good. Smells good too.

Honey Lipgloss:
*1 tablespoon vaseline
*1 teaspoon honey
*1/4 teaspoon hot water

*Mix vaseline and honey in small bowl.
*Add water mixture a few drops at a time to honey & vaseline mixture until the gloss is colored and scented the way you like it!
*Put in a gloss pot (available at craft stores and beauty supplies) or another small airtight container and store in the fridge. I didn't have any gloss pots on hand so I used a bottle cap, by the way.

Vanilla Lipgloss:
*1 tablespoon vaseline
*1-2 drops vanilla flavoring and scent
*blue dye (food coloring or soap dye)
*timer or plain old clock
*either gloss pot or bottle cap or bubble from GumBall Machine (The bubble is what prizes come out in!)
*small bowl
*gloves (unless you want your handds to get icky)
*First mix vaseline, flavoring, and scent until it's all blended together. (Mix it in the small bowl)
*add blue dye (or leave no dye or use a different color, but I feel blue fits best!) ; it doesn't matter how much or how little, that's your own personal affair. You choose how little or how much!
*Mix for about five minutes or until it's completely blue!
*spoon into gloss pot or whatever you could find.
*Set timer for 20 minutes plus or minus five minutes.
*Set inside fridge with no top on.
*After fifteen to twenty-five minutes, get out your lipbalm/gloss and check if it needs more time in the fridge.
*Put on or package it and add a lable
*This makes a GREAT gift if you are still trying to find the perfect gift!

I tried the honey one and it turned out tastylicious. Then I wanted to try the vanilla but I added honey to it and instead of blue food dye I added yellow. Then I put them both in use-to-be mint tins and painted them. I will post pics maybe!!! Smiley Thanks so much!!! I will give them out as gifts with my other some other recipes on here!!!!!!

Thanks!! Grin

THis is so cool... i like to put on vaseline in the winter & when i go out... but my kids are always using it too so know i can make them their own.... I think i wil try other scents & flavorings such as strawberry,  peppermint ..... I am going to put them in old clean carmex containers with the screw on top...
