I made this dress yesterday after going to walmart and investing in some tulle, zippers, thread, and a few different fabrics.  This batman logo fabric was on sale for 3.00$ in the clearance bin, and I just couldn't resist.  I have also had my eyes on that pleather band/ribbon for like.. three months, so I finally gave in, but only bought two yard.  I have to go back, and get some more because I realy want to do it up with this dress.  Forgive the safety pins that are holding the dress around my boobs; I was feeling two lazy to mess with the boob holders, or more or less, I was scared to fuck it up, so I just used safety pins. Honestly, though, I realy like how the safety pins are, its rather punk rock, as well as this dress.  F yah!

Here's the main frontal veiw of it: so you get the idea of what it is.

The side veiw:

The closeup on the front: You cannot quite tell, but it it zippers down the front and about an inch into the skirt.I put pleather at both sides of the zipper, as well as around the shape of the boob holders. (I don't realy know what else to call them, but there is most likely a name for that style of top.  Haha.

me attempting to show the tulle because it is not too visable on the other pictures:

I will be posting a tutorial either today or tomarrow!  So keep an eye out!

Because of the fact that I took the back veiw picture myself in a mirror, I accidentaly cut out the tieing of the two peices of pleather that create the halter part of this dress.:

Oh, and just to show the fullness of the skirt:

I had originaly taken pictures of the dress with green and black tights as you can see in the last pic I just showed, but decided that the tulle would show alot better if I took the tights off.

I'd love input on this, it is completely my own design!

Its cute! I like the bust a lot. I would trim some of the tulle off the bottom, though.

Awesome dress, I really love the idea of a zipper in the front!

Also Hobby Lobby perpetually has batman fabric in the clearance bin for a buck or two a yard.

And another thing- the picture, right-click, properties, copy the URL, paste in URL bar, image should appear, if not already inlarged, hover over the picture until that little icon on the bottom right that lets you make the picture bigger appears, click on it. That should fix the text size.
