I dug out some of my old Jem and the Hologram dolls the other day and I decided to make some jewellery out of their accessories. I made a necklace out of Jetta's Saxaphone and a barette out of Roxy's guitar. I also made a necklace out of this camo micro machine I found. I have a pink one that I'm going to make into one as well! I get a ton of comments when I'm wearing them, especially on the saxophone. I also made a headband out of the cut-off bottoms of some old jeans.

Soooo cute.  Jem and the Holograms is my alltime favorite cartoon.  Sniff...my parents wouldn't buy me any of the merchandise.

Jem! Micro Machines! I have both... but My jem doll accessories are long gone.. they were eaten by my dog or went into vaccuum cleaner land...  Sad
But i bought the Jem DVD box set of season 1 and 2 ... and i still have some micro machines.. great ideas.. how did you attach the car to make the micro machine necklace?

Just got flaked on for personal swaps so I am taking a break. ^_^; sorry everyone.

It was kind of hard since it has nowhere to drill holes or whatnot so I used jump rings and put them over the wheels so they stuck out a little bit, enough to slide the black ribbon through. It's not very sturdy but it works and it hasn't fallen off yet!

I'ma go make my pink one now  Grin
