Oh supre is great for plain tank tops! They come in all kinds of colours and they're usually $10 for one. You just have to ignore the freaking loud music they blast in the stores =\
Yes!  Once I got a whle lot for only $2.50 each.  They aren't of the best quality but for $2.50 and if you're trying out design etc then you can't complain Wink  I still haven't used half of them though...  The fit just isn't what I want - they're much too short!  Undecided

I'm very into Britney Spears' early work, before she sold out, so mostly her, um, finger painting and macaroni art.

Cotton On on Bridge Road has some really well priced tops.  You can get some nice ones for under $10

I just bought 2 "Rio" brand singlet tops from Big W for $3.33 each. They are ok - the lighter one is a bit see through when daughter wears polka dot bra underneath! I painted on boyh and they worked a treat! Happy hunting!

I do like stencilling but I think I was lucky cause I turned up at a sale time.
I got a $4 singlet from Tightrope - worked a treat!
However often it's a bit hard to get a shirt that isn't ultra singletty cause I don't have big boobs Cheesy Yeah, I'd try cotton on... I don't know where in Australia you are but in Canberra there are way too many shops for the population, so there are a lot of girly stores selling cheap t shirts and singlets.

Try Rivers [url]http://www.rivers.com.au/stores/find.asp[/url.

If you can, try to get to a super store ... you should find racks and racks of good quality, plain t-shirts in a variety of styles (round neck, v neck, singlet, polo, boat neck etc) and a rainbow of colours and all for $4-$8.

A hidden gem if I ever saw one...
