Portland is pretty big. What part of town do you want?

Lint in the pearl is an awesome shop and they had a huge sales selection last time i was in there!

Lint is great and has a lot of really beautiful yarns and lots of patterns. And they will wind your yarn into a non-tangled ball! Yarn Garden has a huge selection of really high-end as well as standard things in addition to lots of books and supplies. And Knit-Purl on Alder is one of my new favorites as they have also a beautiful selection! The others I haven't tried yet...

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

I just went to Close Knit on the corner of Alberta and 22nd, since it's  closest to me. It's cute and they have quite a large selection for being a small store. It's owned by the same people as the fabric store Bolt right next door. Although Bolt is a little spendy for me!
