Thank you!

did you color them in, or keep 'em black and white?
I´ll keep them like this. The paintings are just visible if you take a side view. My intention was something like a "second-glance-effect" (Huh)...

Your sketch is quite admirable, you even drew the stitches and seams and everything! Cheesy I love the black & white design, it looks more professional. How did you paint it so neatly, though? The lines are so crisp! ^^ I guess you just have great skills!

That would be a 'doubletake' in English. Wink  These are so cute! I love your design!

It was hard because there´s something like a tribal pattern stitched onto the shoes. I wore them a week before I started painting to get the crappy faux leather (feels like plastic) smoothier. That didn´t worked out, so now there are cracks on the surface...
I used a pencil to draw my pattern onto the shoes. First I tried to do it all freehanded, but it was too difficult on the curvy surface. So I made stencils for the deers and birds. I did a lot of mistakes but it was easy to correct the lines with white acrylic paint (this will only work on bright white shoes).
What else can I say...you should be calm and paint in a quiet atmosphere.

Oh, thank you. Corrections are always welcome.

Those are amazing!  I wish I were talented at painting.  I am not very good at arts.   Cry

And do you perhaps mean "waterproofing" instead of "impregnating" agent?  Something to protect the paint from water and such?   Wink  ("I´ll try to seal them with impregnating agent tomorrow")

Yes, I do. In German it´s "Imprägnier-Spray" and I look it up in a dictionary (ok, I probably should have used my Longman but I was so too lazy, so I took my smaller one which is about thirty years old... Cheesy) and that´s what I found.
By the way, it worked.

The sneakers are so cute, schneewittchen! I love the little deer on the sides- they're so sweet Smiley

I'm glad the sealer worked for you so that you can wear them out! Smiley

If people could put rainbows in zoos they'd do it.
