So in 3hunred-someodd days Order of the Phoenix comes out!!!
And to celebrate I am going with all my wee little friend as the DA to the midnight premier in my town. I have already asked about 10 people so Im about half way there
But sitting in line all day is gunna be a bore, right?  So I figured make a party.

My plan so far: Invites telling all to come in costume and I will send their name tag.
Snacks from the book in a brown paper bag, some drinks in bottles. The Movies, brings copies of the books, play the soundtracks. And we all would be in line with each other get in (first) sit together. Its pretty much gunna be rad but I think we need more.

Suggestions?

Standing in line for Harry Potter events is always cool, but boring too. Turning it into a party is a great idea!
I plan on organizing a huge party for the book seven release.

You could organize a quidditch-on-the-ground game in the parking lot of the theater.  Cheesy
Think of bringing a boombox and playing music from wizard rock bands like Harry and the Potters or The Remus Lupins.

Which DA member are you going to be?

I'm going to be Ginny. The Quidditch is an awesome idea.

Have fun getting your costume together!
I don't know if I'll be a specific character for the movie release, but I know that I'll wear the Ravenclaw scarf that I'm knitting.

I completely forgot to mention this in my original post, but you should check out potterparties.com.
They have instructions for some games, and they also have HP-related recipies. You could bring some wizard food with you so you don't get hungry standing in line.
