Can anyone suggest any good magazines for craft business owners/startups/sellers/etc?  I picked one up the other day--ArtCalendar: The Business Magazine for Visual Artists.  Lots of good info on craft fairs, promoting your business, and so on...but it's only 46 pages long and I am dying for more reading material.  Wink

Dang, sorry I'm late to reply to this. Sunshine Artist is a great, great, great mag for getting info about shows. It is geared toward the serious professional artist/crafter as far as articles are concerned. They have had some very interesting small biz tax stuff lately that has helped me out.

Also, they have an extensive listing of craft shows that is well organized and has all the contact info. The subscription price is like $38 or something - kinda high- but you're definitely getting the goods here. Not only will the mags be good right now, but a lot of the shows mentioned in them have been going on a long time and the info will probably still be good a couple of years in the future.

this isn't a magazine, it's a link, but it's really great -
craft show 101.
it's not just general instructions, it's one girl detailing her experience at one show and explaining what she learned from it (and what she already knows from previous experience).
check it out, and then check out her stuff!
shop with me on ebay!

how about "the crafts report?"  http://www.craftsreport.com/

PrairiePrimitives is my eBay ID. I tried to put a link here, but it didn't work. Sad
