Now I could have called this MY FIRST ATC but there's no fun in that.
Since spying ATC's last night, i havn't been able to stop thinking about them. Usually I'll let an idea sit in my head a while before i throw myself in, this one lasted not even 24hours before I had to give it a go.
During my last exam EVER this year, i decided to have a look at the book that Amaryllis ((i think i spell it different EVERYTIME)) has and i found it, decided i'd make my fella buy it for me and then started to google similar images. Then i found this lady.
Hurrah!
I used scraps of what I had around the house.
First I realised the playing cards we have are 1cm skinnier! Then I ripped up the cover of my design diary for my first ever design assignment ((the wallpaper style paper)), scrounged around in a box full of things I'm 'positive' i'll use one day and voila!
ATC's are so fun and simple! and my fella actually was interested in what I was doing.
The first thing he said tho was, "Did you see this on Craftster?"
heheheh, I guess all my inspiration comes from only one source
I couldn't wait for the glue to dry in this pic. Definitly getting my glue gun back from girly.
OH! and here's an amusing My First Ever Atc Story:: i was using my watercolour pencils to do a little aged-looking design on the back, to write my name on it, and while i was doing this instead of drinking my cordial, I took a swig from my paintbrush glass!
