i made salve today and thought i'd share. it's so very easy and works wonders on any kind of cut/bruise/scrape/wound/inflammation/pain. works nicely for lip balm too!

The ingredients are : Calendula, Comfrey, Chickweed, StJohnswort, Sage, Plantain, Propolis, Lavender, iin Olive Oil and Beeswax

if anyone wants the recipe and directions, i'll totally post them.

I LOVE the design of your tins - so simple and because of that, so pretty! I'd proudly slip one of those babies outta my purse and flash it to everyone on the train. Smiley Elisabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream eat my shorts! Cheesy

Seriously, they are very cool - are you planning on selling them, or giving them away as presents, or keeping them to yourself, or all three of the above?

Anyway: Lovely! (and yes, I'd love to be let in on the recipe as well, if you are willing to share.)

I would love the recipe.  My family has a problem with dry cracked hands.  I wonder if this would work.

thanks all, i'll write out the directions soon!

Thanks decibel, gald you like the design...i think i need to put some protective coating on the labels because right now i they scuff a little.

Muzzymom86- yes, they would be great. it is designed to be very emollient and softening, as well as the chickweed helping with any itching that might be involved...?

Buy it! Use it! Love it!
I have a salve that Future! made for me many moons ago in an old mints tin and every time I use it, which is everyday, (especially since I've moved to the Eastern cold of Montreal), people go  'oohhhh can I try some?" followed by "ummm so yummy" or "wow so moisturizing". There you go Futch, I'm promoting you and your magical herbal healing ways,
Get your own salve and stop using mine everybody!

Maybe I'm showing my lack of crafty know-how and plethora of medicinal knowledge , but isn't St. Johns wort some kind of depression medicine?  If this is a different kind would you please explain   Tongue
