I don't like it, but I thought I'd share anyway. I'm not a huge fan of writing on art so I got out my anatomy textbooks and scribbled away. I think I could improve it by adding some colour to the skull (a neutral, creamy, brown colour to add depth) but I can't find our watercolours. Sad

Next time I try some ATCs I think I will do some chunky impasto acrylics.

I think I feel like this ATC is very flat, and I'd love to see what other's think? Honestly. Thank you!

ps. the pinky colour on the flower is actually a lot lot broighter in real life. Nearly neon in fact.

I really like the detailed design you made! I think it's really depends on your taste if you prefer 3-d/textured ATC's or flatter ones. I think both kinds can look equally impressive.

do you mean flat like no pop, zing or no 3D texture?  I really like your colours and detailed design which makes the skull pop out more I think. I think your card is fabulous!

I can see what you mean about wanting to add some depth to the skull - the rest of the design has a lot of flow and movement, so the skull feels a bit dull and passive in comparison - but I love the overall design (I'd trade with you any time!).  Stick with some very subtle natural tones, if you add anything.

You're off to an amazing start, it's a gorgeous first ATC Smiley

oh, this is wonderful! without any color on the skull it almost has a tattoo -flash feel, but I'd love to see what else you can do with it!

Woo! I really like it! Being a Massage Therapist now and Physical Therapist in training, I am obsessed with bones and I love it! I think it looks great but I do like your idea about adding some cream color to the skull. It looks great as-is though! I'd trade with ya!

Medicine & anatomy is one of the dearest ATC themes that I'm collecting - if this one is still available then PM me if you'd like a trade Smiley

It looks awesome!  I agree about the creme color on the skull, though.
