Knitted with a basic lace pattern that I found in a book- but, I love how the yarn seems to be two colors at once.
Wool/mohair

Thanks for the nice comments- The yarn is a fushia pink at the same time it's blue.. and (in person of course) the stitches with the ridges- makes it pop to the pinkish color while the other stitches seem to be more blue.  I get comments everytime I wear it.  Cheesy   *Which is nice, cause sometimes I feel like we should be entitled to wear a big ole sign that says:  LOOK, it's hand-knit and I MADE IT!

Anyway, the yarn was bought in Seoul, Korea last winter- I doubt that it is exported?  I looked and only the name on the label and the words: Wool Mohair is in English!

It's just a different color of the same yarn that I used to knit a cable purse that I finished this weekend.   I put a photo up on the 'knitalongs' site.. (it's an entry called something along the lines of: Awesome cable purse from garnstudio yarns)  That yarn is a purple/blue/black... not tweedy.. but, it looks like it's all the yarns depending on how you are looking at it.  I bought the yarns just because they were so beautiful and different looking- and I just knew that I'd make "SOMETHING" someday.  Cheesy

Yes, I do think that that is the name of the lace pattern- it was a super easy knit too.  Easy to memorize the pattern.  Which is always good.  Cheesy

Wow, near-psychadelic, but VERY pretty.  I really like it.  Though I fear I might stare at it for hours if I were to be in its presence.
