For all you non-Nintendo freaks, Goomba is the first enemy that Mario encounters in the original Super Mario game for NES. They are mushroom shaped, constantly grumpy-looking and will kill Mario with one touch! Here's more info for those intrigued: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goomba

Fear not though, my Goomba amigurumi may look intimidating, but he's actually really soft and squishy inside.  Cheesy His stem and feet are filled with polybeads so he is freestanding. Goomba is about 6" tall and 12" around at the widest point.





And here is Goomba looking grumpy next to his rival, the lifegiving 1-UP mushroom:

oh gads! i love them.  they are sooo adoreable. *wisted* mario is my favorite game (probably because that's the extent of my video "bravery"). this so rocks!
