I've just started this (on aluminum needles, no less).  Anyone want to join me?  It's an easy, quick knit (and even easier if you're not foolishly using aluminum needles!), and the finished product is beautiful.

Here's her original post:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=127077.0

and here's her pattern on her blog:

I'm using knitpicks Alpaca Cloud in Mist on 10.5US needles.

I'm also thinking about making this in Alpaca Cloud.. I have a nice ball in the Mist colorway laying around. I'm just debating the evilness of my solely aluminum needle collection Cheesy
But I'll def keep you posted if I start it!

It's slow going on the aluminums, but with all the drop stitches, at least it's progressing!

Yay, I started this immediately.
I have some grey mohair-style yarn I didn't know what to use for... so now I've started yet another project (sigh) but it's gonna be a wicked x-mas present...

yay!  Hopefully you were smarter than I am and have bamboo needles! I'm fighting something awful with my aluminum ones!

I'm using aluminium needles and find it quite good as my stitches get really tight after row5...

I only have huge slippage issues when doing the slips.  It's manageable, but I find myself cursing more than normal!

I've gotten a few inches in.. Wow really thin with the alpaca cloud. It's quite a bit of a struggle but I figured I'd let myself get a bit more into it and see what I think.
But I also have a whole slug of christmas presents that just came in so yeah.. Personal projects are on the back burner for now Tongue

I've only been knitting a few inches a day... it's surprisingly slow going.  I'm not sure what I think yet.  I think I'll keep slogging on.

I plan to start this as soon I can buy the yarn without getting "the look".  Grin
