I hope you like it!  It was a weird pattern to make but I am happy with how it all came together.  Please ignore the weird pin, I need to find a decent one before I can wear this out in public!

It's so pretty, I wish I knew how to knit better to make some kind of wearable clothing things other than scarves. -_-

Oh wow! To tell the truth, I wasn't really all that interested in making Frou Frou when I got the book. But seeing yours in that color and with jeans really has me interested now. Is it just the photo, or are your sleeves a little less belled at the end and/or go all the way to the bottom of your wrist? About how long did it take to finish?

Lovely job.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

My sleeves are regular length, I don' tknow why.  I remember other people on here posting their finished Frou Frou's and their sleeves were longer than the pic too.  I like it though.

They are slightly less belled because I only did three repeats of the "lace" trim, rather than five, on the sleeves.  This was due to me hitting the end of my skein and my lack of desire to purchase another one only to use like 1/8th of it.

It also looks pretty cute if you pin the two front edges together in one place near the center, or just left open.  That I wasn't expecting.

That's a really lovely article of clothing, PlayItGeorge. I hope you find a pin you like soon, so you can wear that thing out in public and show it off! Great job!

Great job...I really love the color you choose. Frankly, I like it better than the one in the book.  Looks great, brava

Thanks-- I did find a cute flowered pin that matches nicely.  I wore it out for Thanksgiving, and got lots of compliments--from people who didn't even know I made it!

Even though the pattern is kinda weird, I really recommend anyone looking to make their first crocheted garment to throw their hand at this.  I can't imagine it would look unflattering on anyone.
