I claim rosali for fabric (oriental and paisley). This is my first claim.

1. Fleece in browns and white with machine piecing. 21"x60" (I bought it for a miniskirt that never happened.) (Right hand side of photo).

2. Choose four of eight old ties. Vintage from my father's closet. Most of them are wrinkly, and a few show wear, but they are pretty much standard for old tie recon project quality.

3. Red sweater that I felted until it was small enough to fit a baby. It needs to be de-fuzzed (shaved?) a bit, and de-linted (I was in a hurry and it was in my closet), but it is a great bright red, and thick, strong felt.

4. Pastel madras cotton/poly blouse. This was part of my businesswear rotation because it was so easy to care for, but eventually I yanked it when I lost weight and didn't want to wear dowdy things that hid my middle anymore. It's a woman's S, and the colors are quite pretty. I don't see any obvious wear or stains. Cut it up and make something cool. The only reason it's still here and didn't go to the thrift store long ago is because I thought I might make something with it someday.

5. Pastel with stylized floral print decorator fabric, 48"x22". Great for making handbags. I bought it to include in one of the handbag kits for the DIY kit swap, but at the last minute decided that it wasn't suited to my partner and bought a different print of the same fabric type.

6. Diet coke handbag. This is a basic Jordy bag with cute, thick diet coke fabric, and black and white cotton check lining. It's the first handbag I ever made, and I don't use it. It is lacking the bells and whistles (closure, pockets, feet) but the construction is solid. I can add a button and loop closure if you wish.

7. Blue and violet leopard-print knit polyester/nylon/something fabric, 36" x 60+" (I ran out of tape measure and arms.) It's see-through and has a very synthetic feel, but it's drapey. Fun for curtains in a teenager's room, though I'm not sure there's enough. I've had it so long I don't even remember where I got it. Probably back when I was a teenager. (Left hand side of pic)

8. One custom made pair of earrings on silver french hooks, made with materials from my stash. Mostly glass, a lot of various silvertone acoutrements, all different colors possible. Here's a taste of what I can do:

NEW! 9. One pair of vintage button bobby pins. You choose from earth tone, bright colors, metallic, or shiny.

I claim miss violaceous for: 5. Pastel with stylized floral print decorator fabric, 48"x22". Great for making handbags. I bought it to include in one of the handbag kits for the DIY kit swap, but at the last minute decided that it wasn't suited to my partner and bought a different print of the same fabric type.

I claim la_chrystelle for:

9. a bag http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n226/crafstermember/IMG_2627.jpg

I am in the UK and this is my first claim!

1. Winnie the pooh clutch bag- handsewn by me! It's not wonky, although it looks it in the picture! I can also make this in other fabric if you wish!

2. Notebook I covered and made look pretty. Closes with a piece of elastic. The inside has a wrinkled and distressed look and a place to put a name tag!

3. Tape measure brooches.

4. Mini-pots of silk paints. I have pink, red, blue green and yellow!

5. Bag of fabric scraps including some dress net, mesh, polka dot, strawberry print- some stretch. I have all sorts!

6. Tote bag like this will make one how you want it, but in the same denim fabric!

7. Button wrist cuff. In this style but I will do in in your colours choices!

8. Winnie-the pooh fabric. I have quite a bit of it. It is blue with Pooh and flowers on it. I love it, but have no use for it really! It is the same fabric used in the Winnie the pooh clutch bag!  Smiley
