My husband bought me this adorable candy from our local Asian market. . .when I first saw it, I immediately made plans to turn this guy into Amigurumi. Using scrap yarn, a few bits of felt and simple embroidery I had my very own GUMI CHOCO ORANGE!!  He measures about 3 inches around, and is my first original Amigurumi.  I hope you like it!

I have another package (my kids snarfed the last one Roll Eyes)  I just tested one, it tastes like an orange gummy lifesaver covered with a tootsie roll. . .very different.  Tongue Not necessarily reccomended. . .he! there's also Gumi Choco Apple, Strawberry and Grape. . the orange was the best. .the rest are. . um. well. different.... to be polite.  Wink

Don't you like Terry's chocolate orange?  You know whack and unwrap!  I love orange/chocolate combo.

By the way, your little guy is adorable.  He looks just like his counterpart on the packaging.

You did a great job embroidering the face, and matching the felt pieces. Now stick a dried orange peel inside. . . LOL!

Wonderful idea, thanks for sharing!
