Hey all! I've just figured out my new camera and have taken the opportunity to show off a little of what I've knit for the past three months.

First, here is a FrankenEmily doll (based off a pattern I found online). It was a thank you present for a lovely lady that let me sleep in her dorm when I went up to K-State. It's supposed to be me, but with more evil showing.

It's all thriftstore acrylic, and it is stuffed with abandoned socks from the laundry room in my Residence hall. I didn't have the money or inclination to go buy Polyfill.

Next, there are the dishcloths I've knit since I went to college.

They're mostly made of Sugar n' Cream cotton, but some of the yarn came from recycled sweaters.

Lastly, I taught someone how to knit!

She got about this far in a day.

I am uber proud of her.

You've been busy!

I went to K-State, too!  I lived in Manhattan, KS for 12 years and just left 4 months ago.   I was so excited to see the Powercat pics!

Very nice..all of it...but most love the "alternate" stuffing material choice!
