Skirts made from T-shirts are good!
I usually use a small zig zag using the banding technique to attach the waistband and voilà they have a nice fitting and look

But after a few wears ....on me the waistband magically wear out, overstretching and losing the shape,  and it's not the good feeling of realizing your clothing is now loose in the waist  Grin! More damn how do I fix this?!

Can't find other discussions about, i'm thinking I'm the one who has a special tummy power to screw up knit waistbands
What you suggest me?

I personally would not use the actual t-shirt fabric (if that's what you mean) to do the waistband. Are you doing an elasticized waistband or just using the material as the waistband. The elastic will hold longer than just the material (of course you can use the shirt material as the casing, just don't rely on it alone to hold up the skirt).

Long time lurker, rarely a poster.
