Funkyolive recieved so im going to post some pics of what i sent her.  warning, i pretty much write way too  much, so feel free to ignore my rantings  Cheesy

first, is the stocking.  which i am quite proud of.  my origional idea of making the toe curled like an elf stocking didnt work out but i think this looks just as good.  the inside is lined with a matching red cotton and i made those pom poms too!

it was pretty much impossible to get a good pic of the jewelry i made her but here are the best two (out of the 7 pics i took, trying to get a good shot).  the teal charm-like one is made out of a BUNCH of teal, black, white, and a couple pink beads (took forever!) and the other one has a guitar pic on it because she plays guitar (so do i!)

I made notecards out of some marimekko napkins (talk about crafty) because she loves notecards and marimekko

I made a little swallow hair clippy form her wist. it is hand sewn around the edges. and we both collect squished pennies so i sent her some from my personal collection

I saw these knitting magnets on her wist and i was like "what! im not paying $15 for something i could easily make!" so I made them for around $4. oh yeah  Cool

I also bought some yarn and a knitting book cause she likes to knit

I love mix tapes, she loves mix tapes, so i mixed a tape for her

and the candy. i tried so hard to find something with marshmellows (she likes them) but walmart, target, tom thumb, and albertsons didnt have anything! the reindeer is too cool, you push down on him and he "poops" out the little brown candies  Cheesy

Im so glad you like everything funkyolive! i had a great time making everything (minus the book, yarn, and candy...im not that crafty  Wink)

This is just the extra pics I forgot from before...

This is the cute stocking she made me! I love the cuff fabric which is great because she wrapped a present in it so I get to have some for myself!

The tshirt I mentioned..

Thanks again!!  Smiley

Katie_Ramone9 I love those notecards! How did you make that cool design on them?

I will be out of state until February. I may be able to check emails periodically so if you need me, it would be more timely to email me. Thanks. ANY OWED SWAP PACKAGES WILL GO OUT BEFORE I LEAVE.

It was some marimekko napkins I cut up and put onto notecards.

I think it is so funny that the pink/orange yarn is called "Bling Bling".  Kiss

I receieved this morning from Diannab.
totally awesome package.
I took heaps of photos so be prepared.

first the whole lot together, you can see my xmas tree in the back ground too.

next is a santa complete with little sack, I am thinking of filling it with candy canes.

some snowmen stuffies which have been painted and look great.

a white corduroy bag with satin lining for a first time sewer you did very well.

this stocking is just brillant I love it so much, it is made from a pants leg? with the designs applique onto it.

and the moon/sun is stuffed to make it stand up so cool

here you can see a painted box that opens to hide goodies in a bowtie and an ornament.
there are also some chocolates, a kitty music cd, a stuffed kitty(which is just so cute) and a little pouch filled with toileries did I get it all?
I think so.

Thank you so much Diannab you are a wonderful partner and I am glad to have been partnered with you.
