I wish I could make something like that! Guess I'll have to wait a few years for the baby to turn toddler at least Smiley

I LOVE that you made a square with Dr. Teeth! Great Job! Did you use patterns for the faces or free hand it? I wish i had a sewing machine so badly now!  Cheesy

thank you so much! i actually polled my friends to see who they thought would be the best 16th block. they had to vote between swedish chef, sam the eagle, or dr. teeth. teeth won, hands down.
on the ones i designed (rowlf, beaker, and teeth), i found pictures of them online, sized them to what i needed, created a b/w version in photoshop, and then printed them. from there, i traced and numbered until i got what i thought would be reasonable applique pieces to create the blocks. i did basically the same thing on this quilt https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=284396.msg3221310#msg3221310 by scanning in the fabric and sizing the figures i liked. not as difficult as you might think, and it got great results!

Grin  I LOVE Sesame Street and the Muppets and I LOVE this quilt!

There is another reason why this quilt is special to me . . . We have changed internet providers several times in the past few years, and those that were DSL connections are not accessible anymore once you no longer carry the service.  A while ago I remembered that there was an awesome craft site I had saved in my favorites but I couldn't for the life of me remember the name.  I remembered a specific project (a turtle quilt) but searching the world wide web for one specific turtle quilt is an excercise in INSANITY!  I was about to give up when I remembered an awesome Muppets quilt from the same site.  One Google image search later and I was back on craftster.  Now I am a member and I will never forget about this site again.  Thank you, bmullard, for helping me find my way home!
