This is something going around on LJ, but I thought I'd bring it here too.  It's based on http://www.nanowrimo.org/ but here at least 50,000 stitches are knit in November.

Here's the deal:  Just post what you've knit (Only the stitches done starting Nov. 1) and how many stitches it took.  Then your running total.  Feel free to show of your FOs as well.

Ex. of what I've done:
1665 sts done on freeform for sculpture class
2666 sts on a hat for my teacher
280 sts so far on a scarf

Total = 4611

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Yeah..I realized that just a couple of minutes later.

It's the number of stitches times the number of rows.  But when you get to all the increasing/decreasing you have to be a bit more careful.  Wink

lol..I know HOW to figure my stitch count..I guess, more what I meant was I dont know how I would make myself count all the rows( I'm lazy)...I dont follow patterns very often, and I knit by measurement. Instead of knitting 25 rows, I knit a certain number of inches.
Sorry for the confusion, but thanks...I bet others will find your post helpful.
